Mission

Purpose:   To increase legal literacy in order to achieve a fairer society

Mission:   To provide award winning activities and exhibitions at heritage sites and places of legal interest which enable the public to learn about the law and justice system and its role in contributing to a fairer society

Vision:      Opportunity for all to learn about the law

NCCL delivers curriculum linked, interactive educational programmes in courtrooms across the UK.

As an innovator in delivering Public Legal Education Syndicates we believe in using real buildings, real objects and real people to engage, inspire and motivate young people to learn from their past, act in the present and change the future.

One of our key objectives is to raise the aspirations of children and young people by developing an understanding of careers in the justice system and how they can be accessed.

NCCL responsibly uses historic buildings, sites and collections to educate through kinaesthetic learning with the individual’s experience at the heart of their learning journey.
