Recycle +

Recycle + is a development of the earlier Recycle Projects run through the Galleries of Justice Museum as a positive activity for young people who are at risk of getting into trouble. The aim was to get young people involved in activities that will engage them in education, training and employment.

The original Recycle Project focused on the creation of a music CD. Recycle + took this idea a step further and helped a small group of young people to create a documentary film which was focused around an issue in Nottingham that affects them.

The young people gained new practical skills, learnt to create storyboards, write scripts, film and edit. They produced a finished film that is showcased at local venues such as Broadway cinema.  Positive Activities for Young People funding through Connexions Nottinghamshire.
