NCCL have been commissioned by Criminal Pursuits to create resources for secondary schools to help pupils gain confidence in the Criminal Justice system and encourage them not to commit offences. The resources are aimed at Key Stage 3 pupils aged from 11 to 14 and can be taught to mainstream classes.

We are being helped in creating the resource materials by the Bluecoat School in Nottingham who gave us the initial idea for the format we are using. We created the resources in-house and these have recently been pilotted by The Nottingham Emmanuel School.

We are hoping to pilot the resources once more in September 2009 before finalising and launching them in October to all schools in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
