Funded through the Challenge and Innovation Fund the NCCL are working with a group of young Muslims to create a set of resources that are based around citizenship with an Islamic perspective.

The young people have creative control over the project and are aiming to create resources that will be a source of enjoyable learning. The resources will aim to encourage young people do develop their identity by working within their communities and develop their understanding of what their faith teaches about citizenship and their role in society.

The NCCL is working with young Muslims from the Nottingham Karimia Institute on this exciting project. 

To mark the completion of the project and reflect on the learning taken place, a celebration event will be held for the whole community, welcoming everyone from parents and carers to local MP’s.
