Recycle +

Recycle + is a development of the earlier Recycle Projects run through the Galleries of Justice Museum as a positive activity for young people who are at risk of getting into trouble. Our aim is to get young people involved in activities that will engage them in education, training and employment.
The original Recycle Project focused on the creation of a music CD. Recycle + takes this idea a step further and helps a small group of young people to create a documentary film which focuses on an issue in Nottingham that affects them.
The young people gain new practical skills, learn to create storyboards, write scripts, film and edit. They produce a finished film that is showcased at local venues such as Broadway cinema, and they can also be put forward to gain an Arts Award qualification as part of their work on the Project.
Positive Activities for Young People funding through Connexions Nottinghamshire.
