How do I book my visit?

Lunchrooms are available to hire free of charge so you always have a secure and safe place to leave your belongings.

How long will our visit be?

This depends on your chosen activities. Check on your chosen activity where it will state the duration of each activity. Start times may vary depending on availability.

Do you offer free familiarisation visits?

Yes. All teaching professionals are more than welcome to come and have a look around all of our education spaces free of charge before you make your booking. To arrange a free familiarisation visit, please email us

Do you have coach parking?

Due to the location of our venue, we do not have on site coach parking. We do have drop off and pick up points on the museum steps. Please click here for more information about coach parking in Nottingham.

Do you have disabled access?

Yes. We have our recently upgraded lift access and disabled toilets. Due to the nature of our grade II listed building, there are 3 areas of the museum that are not accessible to wheelchair users. However, we do have a virtual tour where you can still explore this part of the museum without missing out. Please advise us if you would like to use our virtual tour at the time of booking.

Do you have wheelchairs for hire?

Sorry, no we do not have any wheelchairs to hire at our site.

Are you allowed to bring cameras and camcorders?

We encourage our visitors to take as many pictures as they wish and upload these onto our social media sites. Unfortunately, we do not allow video recording.
