Secondary School

NCCL delivers educational sessions to Secondary School pupils at venues in London, Nottingham, Manchester and Northampton.

Our work focuses on educating young people to be responsible citizens. We provide access to knowledge of the law, how the law can affect young people’s everyday lives and understanding the full consequences of breaking the law; from the individual involved to the impact on the wider community. This opens up opportunities for young people to enter professions within the Justice System.

Each activity is linked to key subjects in the National Curriculum at KS3, GCSE and A Level exam board syllabi for History, Law, Citizenship, PSHE, English, Religious Studies as well as other subjects such as Criminology, Sociology, Leisure and Tourism*, and Customer Service*. We can help to support SMSC provision including current Department for Education guidance in promoting British Values.

Activities are designed to engage learners kinaesthetically with the buildings that they are in, to encourage pupils to ‘learn by doing’.

A range of site-specific activities are delivered at different venues across the UK. Choose your location below or from the menu on the right.

(*activities linked to these subjects are currently only available in Nottingham)
